Meet the founder
M.R. Balachandran
M.R. Balachandran is a retired Medical Laboratory Technician who served 37 years at the Institute of Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Madras Medical College, under 21 directors. With 50 years in laboratory service, he now teaches practical health skills in Tamil and leads home health care for diabetic families in Chennai. He is a member of the Lions Club of Royal Ullagaram, District 324J.

Students who have completed +1 / +2 (any group) can join. The courses are also open to homemakers, job-seekers and family members of diabetic patients — no prior medical knowledge needed.
Is the course taught in Tamil?
Yes. All classes are taught in Tamil, with English medical terms introduced step by step.
What is the fee?
The Point-of-Care Testing Practical Training fee is ₹3,000 and the Health Assistant for Diabetics course is ₹5,000. [CONFIRM: final fees and inclusions]
